FAQ

  • Do you offer delivery across the UK?

Yes, we offer nationwide delivery across the UK and work exclusively with couriers we trust. Having previously experienced unreliable services that led to damage, we’ve curated a network of dependable professionals who handle our furniture with care. If you prefer to organise your own courier, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage during transit — however, we’ll always take clear photos and videos before your item leaves us.

  • How do I care for vintage teak or rosewood furniture?

Teak and rosewood are both beautiful, natural hardwoods with unique grains. To keep them looking their best, we recommend dusting regularly and using a soft cloth with a small amount of specialist wood oil or conditioner a few times a year. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight or near heat sources, which can dry out the wood over time. We'll happily advise on specific care tips depending on your item.

  • Is your furniture professionally restored?

Yes — all of our pieces are professionally restored by trusted experts, not in-house. This ensures a high standard of craftsmanship and long-lasting quality. From careful sanding and refinishing to structural repairs, we invest in proper restoration that respects the integrity of the original design — which is reflected in the final price.

  • Do you reupholster your furniture? What materials do you use?

Absolutely. Many of our upholstered pieces are reupholstered by professional craftspeople using high-quality fabrics, foams, and webbing. We often use materials from trusted suppliers like Warwick, Kvadrat, or Abbott’s, ensuring both comfort and durability. Reupholstery is included in the price unless otherwise stated.

  • Is everything vintage, or do you stock contemporary pieces too?

While our focus is on original mid-century and vintage design — especially Scandinavian and British classics — we occasionally mix in select contemporary pieces that complement our collection. We believe in creating inspiring interiors that blend timeless character with modern style.

  • Can I view the furniture in person?

Yes — we have a showroom in Chorlton, South Manchester, where you can view pieces by appointment or during our open hours (usually weekends). It’s a great space to see the scale, wood tones, and finishes in person. We also use natural light in our product photos to give you the most accurate representation online.
