A rare and compact model, the R436 sideboard by Gordon Russell of Broadway was designed by Professor R.D. Russell—Gordon Russell’s brother—and W.H. Russell, a long-term employee of the firm. Minimalist in form and superbly crafted in oak, this piece was produced in limited numbers and positioned as a premium offering in the 1960s. Professionally restored.

Gordon Russell of Broadway was a pioneering British firm known for blending Arts & Crafts values with modernist design. Under the leadership of Gordon Russell and later his brother, Professor R.D.
